Project Overview
This Barrie master bathroom was redesigned from the ground up with a clear material story: cool grey cabinetry, bold black quartz, and warm brushed gold hardware carried through every fixture and fitting in the room.
The double vanity is the anchor of the space — a custom grey cabinet with full-extension drawer banks, topped with a striking black and white veined quartz slab. Two undermount black sinks sit flush into the stone, with brushed gold square faucets above. A wide frameless mirror spans the full vanity width, lit by a matching gold bar light that makes the countertop material the focal point even in low light.
On the opposite wall, a frameless glass shower enclosure runs floor to ceiling on gold sliding hardware. The interior is finished in large-format grey tile with mosaic tile flooring and a matching gold drain strip, keeping the material palette cohesive from one end of the room to the other.
Every hardware choice — towel bars, toilet paper holder, faucets, shower rail — is the same brushed gold finish, which gives the room a collected, intentional quality that elevates the overall design. The result is a bathroom that feels like a proper retreat rather than a functional afterthought.
