Thornhill Executive Office Renovation

This Thornhill office renovation covered two distinct spaces within the same suite: a private executive office and an open-plan staff workstation area — both redesigned from the walls out using a consistent material palette of light oak, white stone, and matte black.

The executive office is the centrepiece of the project. A floor-to-ceiling marble feature wall anchors the space behind the desk, finished in a dramatic white and grey Calacatta pattern that reads as both luxurious and authoritative. Flanking it on either side are custom built-in display shelving units with dark fluted panel backs set within gold-trimmed frames — a detail that elevates the shelving from functional to architectural. Full-height oak wall panelling wraps the remaining walls, bringing warmth and continuity to a space that could easily feel cold.

The executive desk and meeting table were selected to match the millwork — white stone surfaces on sculptural bases that tie back to the feature wall without competing with it.

In the staff area, the same oak tone carries through to a run of custom built-in workstations with white tops and integrated three-drawer pedestals, keeping the team area organized and visually coherent with the rest of the suite. Storage cabinetry lines the back wall in matching oak, making the most of the available footprint.

The result is a commercial interior that reflects the seriousness of the business it houses — professional, well-considered, and finished to a standard that stands out.
